I agree with her- too soon for football and really, why get yourself all upset watching them lose. I tell my husband all the time- don’t bother watching it- just watch the news later to find out the score!!!!

I know I’m in the wrong place but I spoke to you abut my son’s benefit this morning. His name is Richard Stoj. His accident was in the News paper and on channel 2 news repeatedly for a number of days. He had a terrible snowmobile accident on Feb 6th where he shattered his pelvis and his elbow plus broke it in 3 places. He was in the trauma unit at ECMC for 14 days. Five surgeries later, 2 on his pelvis and 3 on his arm, they are not sure if he will get enough mobility in his arm to work again; he’s a mechanic. The hospital bills are unreal and he now has no income. His friends put together a benefit for him at the Hearthstone on May 1st from 2:30 to 7pm. Presale tickets are $20 and $25 at the door. I would appreciate it if you could announce this on 102.5. My phone # is 812-8700. I can fax or email the flyer and any other info you need. Thanks!

Well, it's easier for a guy, I guess, since I kept the check in my wallet all year. Generally that's on my person. I think the benefit of this is the visualization of financial "abundance." Every time I looked in my wallet, I saw the check, and it made me think about our finances. Maybe that kept me from overspending! Coincidence or not, my wife and I ended the year in much better shape financially. Good luck to you, Anonymous!

Mr. Lucas my daughter Brittany won tickets to see Sarah McLachlan on your Monday morning show.January 2nd.
She is VERY excited!! She mentioned she sang some of the song for you,she does have a Beautiful voice,anyhow I was wondering is there any way I could somehow hear that morning show so I could hear when she won?? And her singing??

12/9/10 Re your comments re debarking: Educate yourself befor you make ingnorant statements please! I am a show breeder w/only 10 dogs. 2 of my dogs (males) are debarked, and I am not hardly a puppy mill!!! Debarking is a LEGAL procedure done by a veterinarian while the dog is under anesthesia. There is a veterinarian within 20 minutes of Buffalo, a graduate of Purdue, whom performs surgical debarking. It requires only a very small cut between 1/8th and 1/16th of an inch and the dog seems completely unphased by it! The dog can still bark, however, it is a very quiet bark. I have my males debarked because when a female is in heat, considering I don’t want every female bred every heat cycle, I have to keep the male and female seperate. The male will then bark pretty much non-stop all day and all night. We live with our dogs, they are not out in some building away from our home. We all need some sleep at night! Sadly some puppy mills attempt to debark illegally using pipes. I think we are talking about very rare and extreme events, that mostly take place in MO and in amish puppy mills. A large percentage of reputable show breeders have their dogs debarked and we dont need the public coming to our homes or kennel and assuming that because our dog is debarked that we are a puppy mill and jammed a pipe down it’s throat. Again, it is a LEGAL surgical procedure performed by veterinarians and it does NOT involve a pipe and it NOT cruel. Please don’t make such a general statement without researching the facts.
