so as my duties and my on air times change, so does my attitude.  I am working a little later in the afternoon, so I am coming in a little later in the morning….This means my routine has changed, and I think I’m gonna like it!  Up at 6:30, tried to do yoga, was a little stiff, but theres always tomorrow.  Got stuff ready to make dinner tonight, showered, Starbucks, ran to the store and was at work by 9!  Now thats a productive morning!  We’ll see how tomorrow goes!

Hubby is just about done building our wine cellar!  Its incredible.  He did a great job and hardly complained at all!  I can’t wait to drink wine in it!  Or maybe we’ll start with champagne!

Looking forward to the Oscars on Sunday.  Rooting for ‘The King’s Speech” Loved that movie!

So the title of this blog was spring cleaning of the mind.  I am doing just that.  Cleaning my mind of all the bull s**t and opening it up to all the possibilities that await.  I really am looking forward to spring and all it brings!

Got the chance to shake hands with new SABRES owner Terry Pegula (above) and new team President Ted Black (right) when they were in visiting our Entercom stations. Not only won’t I wash the hand but I’m having   trouble speaking on the air (more than normal)!

In Britain a new “tourism strategy” is move clocks ahead 2 hours to get lighter evenings in the summer months, but darker mornings?  Supporters believe it would “boost outdoor events, particularly in late summer when the nights are drawing in.”  Isn’t changing clocks crazy enough?  Check it out at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1358801/Double-summertime-Coalition-clocks-forward-TWO-HOURS.html

Mason is 3, Makenna is 5, and Wipeout is one of their favorite TV shows.

Here they are talking about why they like Wipeout.

And just so you know, Mason has been saying the Wipeout sign-off phrase every night before bed. My brother can’t stop laughing at this.

Guns ‘N Roses’ Slash has gotten the urge to downsize for a good cause. He’s auctioning off personal memorabilia ranging from cars to a collection of model dinosaurs. It benefits the Los Angeles Youth Network. When you’ve got this stuff to auction off, it’s good to be Slash!

I suppose only Lady Gaga could come up with an incubating egg entrance into Sunday’s Grammy Awards.  She did OK with Grammy Awards too winning BEST POP Vocal Album (The Fame Monster), BEST Female Pop Vocal Performance (Bad Romance), BEST Electronic Dance Album (Lady Gaga), and BEST Short Music Video (Lady Gaga).  Her new single BORN THIS WAY was unveiled with a great stage production, but many say it’s an actual rip-off of Madonna’s 1989 EXPRESS YOURSELF.  No surprise that Billboard Magazine’s Annual MUSIC MONEYMAKERS LIST (most income during the previous year) has Lady Gaga at #1 with a net income of $30.6 Million!  Looking forward to seeing her Live Friday March 4th at HSBC Arena!

Up until a few weeks ago, I pretty much avoided FaceBook. I signed up awhile back, but never did anything much with it.

But then I went completely off the deep end and started posted weird banana Twinkie pictures, videos for songs that will probably never be popular in North America, 80’s snowpants pictures, and exciting world-stopping news about TV shows that few people remember.

This of course probably means that the final days are near for FaceBook, because if I like something, it tends to get cancelled or goes away.

One thing I won’t do – no games for me. I prefer board games – in person, not online. But I do like keeping in touch with people there as no one seems to bother with e-mail anymore. Although stangely enough, two of my closest friends are not on FaceBook.

Today I posted a thought provoking question which I’d love to know the answer to. I’d ask it here, but then what’s the point of posting it on FaceBook? So that’s where it is along with all the other deeply disturbing things I mentioned above.

First, a big congratulations to “our own” (Niagara Falls native) JAMES STARKS and coach Mike McCarthy (above) for winning Super Bowl XLV!  Didn’t anyone like my favorite Super Bowl Commercial the one for the new Audi A8 with the “blue blood” prison break-out with Kenny G at the end?  Here’s a link if you missed it http://website101.com/ads/audi-a8-release-hounds-superbowl-ad-video

Not only is it Super Bowl weekend, but it’s the 20th Anniversary of the Bills-Giants Super Bowl 25, which at the time ended up being the best Super Bowl ever, despite the ending for Bills fans.  Check out this review of the best and worst Super Bowls, and see if you agree with the rankings.  Me?  I would give this review a B+.  The Bills Giants game should be #2 on the list, not #5!

So I was fortunate to visit my friend in Fort Lauderdale last week.  5 days of sunshine, time to go for a run every morning along the ocean, side trip to Miami and great conversation and even better wine!  Had an 06 Leap OMG.  OMG .  There is no going back from there….Speaking of wine.  hubby is a cellar dweller as in still building my wine cellar….his idea not mine.  the thought of storing wine doesn’t do a thing for me…..drinking it…yes….So my birthday is Tuesday and we are gonna open an 05 Opus…..Happy Birthday to me!  Yum!

Super Bowl Sunday and the Buffalo Auto Show next week.  Before we know it spring will be here!
